Life in Michigan is quite different from life in Hawaii. Our 8th grade art students got to see exactly how in a fun art postcard exchange!
Our 8th graders were art pals with 8th graders from a school in Hawaii.
In the Art Pals Postcard Exchange Program, each student creates a postcard that portrays where they live with a short note on the back telling about Michigan or the image they chose to create.
Our students showed off things like fishing, snow skiing and the Mackinac Bridge. The postcards they received portrayed a lot of ocean scenes and waves!
