Cookie Capers! Students are helping give a smile to those dealing with tough times at the holidays through this sweet effort.
Each year, our elementary schools put together plates of homemade cookies for Wings of Hope Hospice; they then deliver them to the families they’re serving. For these families, the holidays can be sad and stressful. Our schools put on Cookie Capers, as it’s called, in hopes of giving those families a smile and to let them know we are thinking of them during this difficult time.
The cookies are homemade by our families, then assembled by our student council members and staff. Students put a variety of cookies on a plate or in a container, and wrap them up with a bow for delivery. In total, our schools assembled more than 300 plates of cookies!
Thank you to all who donated to this great cause.
