A 3rd grade STEM project was one for the entire school to enjoy! A mini balloon parade!
Alamo 3rd graders had a tall task, to create a balloon float like in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade. It was a STEM project where students had to engineer their design, figure out how it will "float" and then create it! There were pre-tests where kids could figure out if it needed improvements or not and made adjustments. They journaled the entire project, then topped it off with a school-wide parade! Classes lined the hallways and cheered as the kids paraded their balloons through the school. A festive and fun way to mark their success!
