The Otsego Senior Lifelong Living group meets once a month at the Administration Office, or other locations depending on the activity. Dates of activities may vary. Please see our upcoming events for more information.

This group is a great way to stay active and involved with other senior citizens. 

All monthly meetings are held at the Otsego Public Schools Administration Office unless noted. The address is 400 Sherwood St., Otsego, MI 49078.

OCTOBER

Thursday, October 19 - 10am - Senior Meet-up at Christian Neighbors

  • Join us at 10:00am for a morning of activities with our friends from Plainwell Community Schools' Seniors group, Ransom Library and Christian Neighbors!

NOVEMBER

Allegan Heritage Trail Tour - 9:30am-2pm - November 2, 2023

  • See the fall colors and explore part of the Heritage Trail. We'll hear about several historical sites as we travel by bus from Otsego to Fennville. There, we'll enjoy lunch at Crane's before heading back! 
    • Depart Otsego Middle School at 9:30am, return between 1:00-2:00pm. 
    • The cost is: $4 (for bus) and the cost of lunch
    • RSVP by October 25th to LeAnne

Tuesday, November 7, 2023 - 9am - Read with kids!

  • Join us at Washington Street Elementary to read with a 4th Grade Class! Please contact LeAnne Perkowski to sign up!

Thursday, November 16, 2023 - 1pm - "Friendsgiving" Event at OHS

  • Enjoy a potluck-style lunch and fellowship with friends at this "Friendsgiving" Event at Otsego High School! Please contact LeAnne to sign up.

DECEMBER

Tuesday, December 15, 2023 - 1pm 

  • Holiday party at Plainwell's auditorium and a preview of their holiday musical.

JANUARY

  • January 19, 2024 - Lunch and Play at Gun Lake Casino. 

FEBRUARY

  • February 15, 2024 - BINGO at the Otsego Public Schools' Admin Office Community Room. 1-3pm

MARCH

  • March 19 - The Allegan Community Foundation is hosting an event linking seniors to services and community service possibilities. The event is from 11am - 2pm at the Silo in Allegan. Enjoy an open house style lunch and "meet and greet" with area non-profits. 

APRIL

  • April 16  - "High Tea" at Christian Neighbors Educational Resource Center from 1-3pm

MAY

  • May 7 - Ransom Library in Plainwell will host a Lemonade Luncheon (details coming soon)

  • June - Patio Herb Gardens at Christian Neighbors
  • July - Allegan Heritage Trail (Northern trail bus tour and lunch)
