OAC Rules

It is very important that all guests to our pool follow our procedures and guidelines to ensure everyone has a great, safe experience. Please be sure to read the rules posted at the pool.

Swim Test: To use the diving board, a swim test is required. Lifeguards/Pool Staff may ask to see your swimmer complete a swim test before using the diving board during open swim or facility rentals. The Swim Test consists of entering the pool feet first and swimming 15 yards without struggling/without putting feet down.

Pool Noodles & Life jackets are allowed in the deep end BUT NOT off the diving board. Swimmers who are using life jackets and pool noodles for support should also have an adult in the water with them, within arms reach.

Children under the age of 8 or who are not proficient swimmers/cannot pass the swim test - must have an adult in the pool with them; children 9-16 must have an adult present (in the pool, on pool deck, or in the mezzanine)
