Senior Lifelong Learning

Stay involved, stay active, meet new people and learn new things! The senior lifelong learning group meets on the first Tuesday of each month at 1:00pm at the Otsego Public Schools Administration Office. Some meetings are also field trips! Classes feature guest speakers and fun activities! To get involved, simply stop in. For more information or questions, call Lisa Currie at 269-694-7902.

Upcoming Meetings & Speakers

 

August 8 - Field Trip to Charlton Park, Hastings
Depart Middle School (540 Washington Street (Wednesday)  east side of building) parking lot at 9:00 a.m. for a guided tour of historic Charlton Park. Afterwards, will stop at Phil’s Galley in Hastings for lunch before returning at approximate 2:00 p.m. Cost to Otsego Schools: $9 for transportation and tour (please bring exact amount).  Bring $$ for lunch.

September 4 - 

October Meeting has been cancelled
October 2 - Wishbone Pet Rescue
. Hear about this organization, their efforts to rescue pets and their adoption process, as well as how you can become involved.

November 6 - Field Trip to Allegan Jail Museum
Depart middle school (540 Washington Street - east side of the building) parking lot at 9:45am for a guided tour of the Allegan Jail Museum. Afterwards, we will stop at Village Inn for lunch before returning at approximately 1:00pm. Cost is $5 for transportation and tour. Please bring exact amount or make checks payable to Otsego Public Schools. Also bring money for lunch.

December 4 - Marc Faber
Marc will share his travel experience in East Africa and the native animals he came upon during his travels.

January 8 - Stacie Rayman, Armor Physical Therapy 
Stacie will cover topics that are important to your physical safety. Bring $ as Stacie will also have bands available for you to purchase for stretching, toning and balance exercise.
