COVID-19 School Closure Updates

Otsego Public Schools Superintendent Jeff Haase and school administrators are in contact with county health officials and school districts as information unfolds on the novel coronavirus, or COVID-19. This is an evolving situation so we will keep you updated as we learn more and/or make any adjustments to activities at school. Governor Whitmer announces closure of K-12 schools until April 5th: 11:00pm.
Governor Whitmer just held a news conference regarding the coronavirus and announced that she is ordering the closing of all K-12 schools for 3 weeks starting Monday, March 16th through Sunday, April 5th. Our spring break is scheduled for the following week so Otsego Public Schools will resume on Monday, April 13th. This is an unprecedented closure, so we will be meeting with various officials tomorrow to learn more. We will have additional information for our families Friday afternoon.
