Construction on Pace for Preschool Building

There's visible progress every day now out at the site for the new Learn 'n Grow Early Childhood Education Center. This is the newest addition to Otsego Public Schools featuring seven classrooms, a large multi-purpose room and a nature-based theme, playground, building and site.

The building is set within five acres just west of the high school. The design features large windows with amazing views of the outdoors. The entrance is off of 18th Street between Jefferson Road and 104th Avenue in Otsego.

The playground plan includes an outdoor classroom, lots of hands-on activities for motor skill development and a bike path. Students will spend more time outside in this new center exploring habitats and seasons.

The building is slated for completion at the start of September with school beginning mid-September. Learn 'n Grow preschool started with one classroom and six four-year-old students eleven years ago. This fall, we'll have a record number of students. Currently, enrollment is at 136 students, both 3 and 4 year olds. If you're interested in enrolling, go to the Learn 'n Grow website at lng.otsegops.org.
