Superintendent

The culture and climate at Otsego Public Schools is centered around building positive relationships and Otsego's Superintendent, Dr. Christie Robinson has built her career on making connections. In pursuing her doctorate degree, her thesis was "Relationships-Engagement-Assessment, the Keys to Student Success". "By learning more about individuals or teams, we are able to share a common vision for our students; I have always believed that every person plays a valuable role in our success."

Growing up in Martin, Dr. Robinson started her educational career as a middle and high school science teacher in Allegan where she also coached multiple sports. She completed her masters Degree at Grand Valley State University and became the principal of Galesburg-Augusta High School in 2013 where she served for eight years. She completed her doctoral program in 2021 with an emphasis on Educational Management and Leadership and most recently served as the superintendent in Springport for the last four years.

She joined Otsego Public Schools as Superintendent in July 2025 and is thrilled to be a part of the Bulldog family. As a lifelong resident of Allegan County, she is connected to the area and shares in your passion to see our schools, students and businesses flourish.

She and her husband, Frank, are proud parents of four children and have seven grandchildren, all who live nearby.

Dr. Robinson's goal is to help the students of Otsego Public Schools feel connected, develop their talents, make lasting memories and chase their dreams. "I am excited to begin this journey as a Bulldog and continue to build a legacy rich in tradition, success and family."
