March 30, 2015 Mr. & Mrs. William and Agnes Baillargeon Memorial Fund

$400 scholarship awarded to a graduating Allegan County High School student pursuing an education in law, social justice or criminal justice.

Applications are available in the guidance office or online through the Allegan County Community Foundation.

April 1, 2015 ACATEC Push Scholarship

Must be currently attending the Tech Center and have a minimum GPA of of 3.0 in their current program.

April 1, 2015 Steve Stevenson Memorial Scholarship

$500 scholarship awarded to an Otsego High School senior pursuing an education in fire science, vocal arts or seeking EMT certification.

April 1, 2015 Popke Family Otsego High School Scholarship

Must be an OHS graduating senior. Minimum of 2.75 GPA. Preference will be given to students demonstrating financial need according to FAFSA. Applications are available in the guidance office or at www.alleganfoundation.org.

April 1, 2015 Michigan Retailers Association

Student or parent must be employed at a business that is a member of MRA.

April 1, 2015 Dr. Jeffrey P. Chapman Memorial Scholarship

Minimum 2.5 GPA or higher; Must be pursuing higher education toward a degree in the medical field; service to community/school; character, leadership

Education Community Credit Union (ECCU)

Must be a member in good standing for at least one year. Have a 3.0 GPA or higher. Scholarship awards will be based on academic achievement, financial need, extracurricular activities, community involvement and a one page typed essay.

April 1, 2015 Allegan County Agricultural Society 

Involvement in the Allegan county Fair as an exhibitor for three years of high school.

April 15, 2015 Harry's Foundation Scholarship

Requirements: 2.0 GPA, Clean record of discipline or suspensions regarding drug use, alcohol or violence. Community service. Must be genuinely kind and humble and have a history of helping people. 

April 15, 2015 MEA 5F Presidents' Coordinating Council

Academic and leadership abilities; has a parent or guardian who is an MEA member and employed by one of the 5F (Allegan County) public school districts. 3.0 GPA or above. Other requirements available in the guidance office.

April 15, 2015 Otsego Rotary Scholarship Obtain application in the Guidance Office.
April 17, 2015 Friends of the Otsego District Library

Values reading and the role libraries play in society. Essay of 400-600 words explaining how reading and your use of public libraries have influenced you and how you will benefit from them in the future.

April 20, 2014 Otsego Athletic Boosters

Applicants must demonstrate:Academic achievement or potential (based upon essay and GPA)   A history of active participation in school athletics, community service, extracurricular involvement, and/or work experience.   Strong moral character (based upon recommendations)

For students in 8th grade through junior year. Scholarships are for music or vocal arts camp programs. Also Instrument Rental Grants.

April 27, 2015 Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3030 

$1000 scholarship to a high school senior who demonstrates the ability to succeed and to follow a course of continuing education or upon proof of military service commitment. Leadership, Community service, plans for education after high school, 350 word typed manuscript describing your own personal patriotic values and the importance of VFW organizations with their communities.

April 30, 2015 Rod Morrison Memorial Scholarship

Available to any graduating Otsego High School senior who is likely to be successful in their chosen field of study. Leadership, Scholarship. 

May 1, 2015 NALS of Greater Kalamazoo

Must be going into the legal field, demonstrate financial needs. They'll look at career goals and leadership ability.

May 1, 2015 Peggy K. Shearer Memorial Scholarship

$1,000 per recipient (1 male, 1 female)

Must have a 2.5 GPA, have recommendations from faculty, staff or coach. Must demonstrate a true passion for Otsego Public Schools. Must be a friendly, positive, giving person and helpful to others. Priority given to member of golf team, cheerleading team or Homecoming Court.

May 10, 2015 Patti Sholler-Barber "Power of One" Scholarship

$500 scholarship to a student who exhibits extraordinary civic activism in his/her school and local/city/state community

June 1, 2015 Giva Student Scholarship and Worldwide Community Ambassador Award
