ALLCOPS Criminal Justice Scholarship

2.5 GPA or higher; intend to enroll or already enrolled full-time in a criminal justice program; graduate of an Allegan County high school.

Must be an Allegan County High School Senior; full-time student at an accredited college/trade school for the 2014/15 school year; has shown leadership and makes community service a priority.

March 1, 2014 MEA 9F Presidents' Coordinating Council

Academic and leadership abilities; has aparent or legal guardian who is a MEA member employed by one of the 9-F (Allegan County) public school districts.

March 1, 2014 Michigan School Counselor Association

Applicants must submit an essay describing how a school counselor has helped them learn to live, learn and work.

March 12, 2014 Allegan Co. Tech Center: Math & Science Scholarship

Must be enrolled in an Allegan County Tech program with a 3.0 min. GPA; Must major in an applied math or science related program

April 1, 2014 Allegan County Agricultural Society Scholarship

Applicant must have been involved in the Allegan County Fair as an exhibitor for three out of four of their high school years and plan to pursue a post-secondary education.

April 2, 2014 Michigan Oil & Gas Producers Education Foundation

Must have a minimum 3.0 GPA; financial need; pursuing a degree in a field of study which will allow them to obtain full-time employment in the crude oil and natural gas industry.

April 4, 2014 Dr. Jeffrey P. Chapman Memorial Scholarship

Minimum 2.5 GPA or higher; Must be pursuing higher education toward a degree in the medical field; service to community/school; character, leadership

April 4, 2014 Allegan County Tech Center - Push Scholarship

Must be a senior enrolled at the Tech Center; minimum 3.0 GPA in current program and have a cumulative high school GPA between 2.0-3.0. Must have completed two consecutive trimesters of their program. 

April 4, 2014 Lake Michigan College Scholarship

Senior enrolled at Tech Center; accepted to Lake Michigan College; must have completed two trimesters at Tech Center during senior year; average E-skills score between 80-100 percent for 1st and 2nd trimester

Students pursuing higher education in the legal field (legal assisting, criminal justice, paralegal, political science, pre-law, law enforcement, forensic science. Also based on financial need.

Open to Allegan county students pursuing an education in law, social justice or criminal justice. A minimum GPA of 3.0 is required.
($400 scholarship)

April 18, 2014 Michigan Tech Youth Summer Program

Youth in grades 6-12 are eligible to apply; learn more about 15 engineering fields. Must have a strong math and science background with an interest in technological studies.

April 20, 2014 Allegan General Hopsital  Students pursuing a career in the Healthcare field.
April 20, 2014 Region 9 MEA Retired Scholarship

Children of MEA members; 2.0-2.5 GPA in Jr. & Sr. years; High scholastic record; worthwhile use of education; extracurricular activities

April 21, 2014 Otsego Athletic Boosters

Academic achievement or potential (based on essay and GPA); history of active participation in school athletics, community service, extracurricular involvement and/or work experience; strong moral character (based upon recommendations)
